Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad
This particular train is a slow-moving ride moving at just 18 miles per hour but it is also one of the most beautiful areas through the steep mountains in Colorado. The steam-operated train climbs up to 3,000 feet and which makes for a scenic trip just like in the old west.
The Grand Canyon Train Ride
The Grand Canyon Railway provides a one-of-a-kind view through the deserts of Arizona and a wonderful view of a portion of the Grand Canyon. It is 130 miles of pure beauty and enjoyment as you sit back in the vintage cars of the train.
The Royal Scotsman
Scotland has so much to offer visitors who travel there and taking the Royal Scotsman through the highlands and castles that this country is known for may just be the best way to enjoy the scenery. The posh countryside of Scotland and the beauty of the lakes and streams can be seen while you are in the comfort of this 36-passenger train.
Goldstar Service, Alaskan Railway
This train travels between the Alaskan cities of Anchorage and Fairbanks and has unique double-decker cars so that passengers are able to get the best view possible. You will see the wilderness and mountains of Alaska, with a few stops in between to take in more of this gorgeous state. However, there is a limited window of opportunity as this railway only operates mid-May through mid-September.
Rocky Mountaineer, Banff to Vancouver, Canada
